The Pathways of Embodied Decision-Making

Leading with Splenic Authority

Honoring instinct and intuition
Knowing is quiet and immediate with Splenic Authority. It speaks once, softly. The key is to trust the whisper before the mind questions it.

Intuition speaks in quiet tones; but it never lies.

The truth does not always shout. Sometimes, it’s a soft murmur that says “go this way.”
If you have Splenic Authority, your wisdom lives in the still, instinctive spaces of your body. It’s the immediate knowing that flickers in and out like intuition on the wind. It’s not emotional. It’s not logical. It’s instantaneous.

Your leadership path is about learning to trust this whisper. It arrives once — clear, brief and precise — before the mind begins its commentary.

When you honor it, you experience profound alignment. When you question it, the moment passes.

To lead as a Splenic being is to cultivate safety in your body so that intuition can speak freely and be heard.

Trusting the Whisper

Splenic Authority arises when the Splenic Center is defined and the Solar Plexus and Sacral Centers are undefined.

This center governs instinct, immune health, intuition and survival awareness. It’s the body’s ancient radar that alerts you to what is safe, nourishing and life-sustaining.

Unlike emotional or sacral authority, the Splenic voice speaks once in the present moment. It doesn’t repeat itself. It doesn’t explain. It simply knows.

Your clarity lives in the now. Not the past, not the future.

The more connected you are to your body’s sensations, the easier it becomes to trust this fleeting signal.

Safety is the soil where intuition grows. The quieter you become, the clearer it speaks.

When Fear Replaces Intuition

The Splenic Shadow arises when fear takes the place of intuitive knowing. Instead of acting from quiet confidence, you hesitate, doubt or overanalyze.

Common Leadership Distortions:

  • Seeking reassurance instead of trusting the body’s signal.
  • Staying in relationships, partnerships or roles that feel “off.”
  • Mistaking fear-based urgency for intuitive guidance.

The Splenic voice is soft and it is never frantic.

Leading Through Response

In Leadership:
Your intuition is not impulsive, it is embodied precision. You’re designed to act on instinct. When a decision arises, pause — not to think, but to feel. Your intuition often comes as a sensation of lightness, ease or immediate relief. If it feels heavy or contracted, it’s likely not correct.

In Business:
Your Splenic awareness helps you discern alignment in clients, opportunities and timing. You may not be able to justify your decisions logically, and that’s okay. Build a business model that honors spontaneity so that you learn to trust the intelligence of your senses.

In Team Dynamics:
You are naturally attuned to people’s well-being and the energetic health of your environment. Follow your instincts when something feels “off.” Often, your awareness perceives imbalance before others can name it. You lead best when your environment feels clear, calm and safe.

A Simple Somatic Practice

The Moment of Stillness

  1. Find a comfortable seat.
  2. Close your eyes and place one hand on your ribs, one on your heart.
  3. Breathe deeply, allowing the body to soften. Ask yourself: What do I sense right now
  4. Notice the faint pull, warmth, or clarity that arises. Don’t analyze it — just register it.
  5. Now ask: What would feel safe right now?
  6. Listen for the body’s answer. It might be a movement, a sigh or a knowing.

Trust that the answer you receive first is correct, even if the mind disagrees.

Affirmation: I am safe to trust my knowing the moment it arrives.

Your Somatic Invitation

Your gift is your ability to make quick, aligned decisions that others may overlook. Your success depends on your ability to cultivate a deep connection with your instincts, remain present and make decisions based on what you intuitively sense to be correct for you.
Reflection Prompt: What would change if I trusted the first message my body gave me?
